A family shaped by grace
For nearly two decades, Grace Community Church has been a place where the people of Kampala encounter God, find belonging, and are sent out to love their city well.
Who we are
More than a service — a spiritual family
We believe church is not a building or an event, but a family on mission. We gather to worship wholeheartedly, we grow through the teaching of Scripture, and we go into our city carrying the hope and compassion of Jesus.
Our congregation reflects the beautiful diversity of Kampala — students and elders, professionals and traders, families and singles — all united by one heart of worship. However you arrive, you will be met with warmth, honesty and space to grow.

From a living room to a movement
Every chapter of our story is a testimony of God's faithfulness to a people who said yes.
2008
A living room begins
Twelve friends gathered in a Kamwokya living room to pray and worship. Grace Community was born.
2013
Our first home
The growing family moved into its first permanent building on Kira Road as numbers passed three hundred.
2018
Reaching the city
We launched community outreach, feeding programmes and a school partnership across Kampala.
2026
One family, many stories
Today over 2,400 people call Grace home each week, united by worship, the Word and love.
